the nice revolver has a brass trigger guard and back strap, unlike the pic. I'm guessing a safety feature when you bring it to half cock and lower the hammer it automatically sets it in between cylinders. I have not fired it yet but will get back on that it is a beautiful revolver cant wait to shoot it
