No hard case is included, SW stopped including hard cases a few years ago, this comes with 2-15rd magazines, 4 interchangeable back straps, gun lock, standard paperwork, Includes seven mounting plates, and two magazine sleeves for use with a 17rd full size magazine

will this accept the 17 rd mags and holsters from the M&P9?

Yes it will fit the magazines for sure, and will fit most holsters, but it really depends on the holster as different manufacturers male their holsters with different tolerances and retention, the suppressor height sights on this model could in some holsters make it not fit.

This is my third S&W M&P M2.0. This is my second 9mm from them. I also have a .45, as well. Love the quality and reliability of smith and Wesson. These will spit out just about any 9mm ammo and function flawlessly!

Great hand gun, S&W got it right, including good suppressor height sites out of the box, Glock needs to pay attention to this along with others. Highly recommend S&W M&P.

I was looking for a new 9mm similar in size to the Glock 19. Tried a number of different models including Sig, Glock and S&W. The S&W M&P 2.0 compact was the best fit for me personally. I like the fell of the gun and once I found the best grip size for me, when I present the gun the sights are right on. The higher supressor high sights took a bit of getting used to but are very nice. Mine are pretty much spot on at 25 yards and shoot nice groups. I have not picked a red dot yet, but specifically got this model due to the ported slide and the included mounting plates. Definitely a plus. Everything seems to feed smoothly and I've enjoyed shooting both factory jacketed ammo and hi-tek coated reloads with no feeding issues. Highly recommend this one!!

I am very pleased with this pistol! I had been trying to decide between a Glock 19 and a few other compacts in 9mm and the S&W M&P9 2.0 wasn't even on my radar until I watched a review on YouTube by Mrgunsandgear, and seeing the features and ergonomics actually led me to purchasing one and I'm glad I bought it! Well crafted gun that feels good in the hand and shoots nice!
