  Hi Michael, I hope you see this, as you were too quick to choose the best answer. The Ruger .22 Charger is not legal in NJ even with a 10rd magazine.
  The following are prohibited:
  ✘ Semi-automatic handguns that have the ability to accept a detachable magazine and at least two of the following features:
  ❌ 1. Magazine that attaches outside of the pistol grip
  2. Threaded barrel
  3. Barrel shroud
  ❌ 4. Manufactured weight of 50oz or more when the pistol is unloaded
  5. Semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm

  Harry, looks like this is legal unless you live in cook county, city of highland Park, or city of Aurora. I think Illinois tries making their gun laws so confusing people just give up trying to buy one. So it's best to double check with your local FFL dealer since they will have the most up to date laws. • Q: What type of suppressor does this gun take? It is threaded for one. Also what type of clips will work in it?

  The Ruger Silent SR suppressor is a great choice. Barrel is threaded 1/2" x 28, a standard 22 caliber threading for sound suppressors and flash suppressors. The Ruger 10 round rotary and 15 banana magazines work best; the 25 & 50 round hang down too far to use with a bipod, but are otherwise compatible.

  Pistol. 15 round mag is not legal in Maryland. If it is on the handgun roster with the 10 round mag it could be if Buds removed the larger mag. They do not replace.
• Q: I've seen a lot of SBA tactical braces for the takedown version. Can a pistol brace be added to this?

  Yes it has the same crossbolt safety in front of the trigger guard as the Ruger 10/22
