Good product functions as should . Cycles multiple brands and weight of ammunition.Red dot works as expected, takes a little time to adjust if you are new to them, I am. Buds did a great job with their description, ad was correct and shipping was good.

I must say im pleasantly impressed ive owned the original xd mod 2 that were double stacked this XDs single stack by far surpasses the orginal xd’s my only thing i would say i wish was different is the mag capacity i really wish they had 10 round mag options but it its nice that that 7 round flush mag comes with with a pinky extension already installed which is a big plus ran 500 rounds through it and it performed effortlessly! I absolutely love Springfield armory!!!! Buds made my transfer so easy too always a pleasure to do business with buds!

What an awesome EDC in a reputable caliber. Is it snappy? Not really… the .45acp version is snappier (but love it as well). Are there more fun guns to shoot? Off course… but not really as far as an everyday carry. I like it very much compared to other EDC formats I have shot before. Is it accurate? … If used for its intended purpose (hit where intended within 30ft… yes… very well). It is. Is it reliable? Have put over 800 rounds of all types of ammo… including various hollow points… not one failure to date. None. Does it hold enough rounds? I think so… I have the 7 and 9 round magazines on me… all the time… it’s enough considering that I don’t feel it on my person. Would I purchase another?… I have already… in .45 cap format and practice with both. Its most appreciated features…the grip safety gives me piece of mind and the optic makes target acquisition a breeze. The slim profile (less tha 1”) is truly convenient and very easy to maintain… Never had an issue and have grown to appreciate managing this pistol…perhaps a little more than my .45acp version (maybe / perhaps / not sure)… But it is exactly what I was looking for in my EDC pistol.

Nothing fancy; it just efficiently does what it was designed to do. It’s slim enough for easy concealed carry and accurate enough for up close & personal. I used White Box FMJ with it and there were no malfunctions. I might eventually try some personal defense ammo once it becomes more available in my area. The grip texture is aggressive enough that I was glad I used leather gloves. I predict that 9+P would be unpleasant. The CT red dot is adequate with just basic settings

Great value if you like red dots. This was my first pistol red dot and I am not a fan. Not the fault of the red dot. It is a nice unit. I have a hard time lining it up because of the way that I learned to shoot a pistol (50 years ago, cough, cough). I am a fan of the XDs though. Also a fan of red dots on rifles. Likes: very thin and pretty easy to conceal fully ambidextrous mag release field stripping is easy as with all XDs that I have ever owned or held. good trigger comes with red dot accurate Improvements: pinky extension is too short for my hand. fits my wife's hand very well. Full size mag fits my hand well. get rid of the backstrap safety Fix the magazine issue: When magazine is fully loaded and you have not chambered a round, then you drop the mag, it strips a round out of the mag every time. It is very annoying. If a round is chambered so that there is one less round in the mag and then you drop the mag, no problem. We have three of these in the family and they all do it.
