Is this magazine made by Mec-Gar or Taurus? Taurus made magazines for the PT92 have a yellow follower. This magazine has a black follower as do most Mec-Gar mags.

The description states that Taurus is the manufacturer. Maybe the photo is not accurate, as sometimes is the case. If you’re worried about Mec-Gar, don’t. They have quality products. I use them for my Sig P226 Scorpion Elite 9mm and 2 of my 1911s.

They are factory Taurus mags and most likely will come with the yellow follower depending on when they were made I have some that have the black follower and one with a red follower (they are all factory Taurus mags)

Joan, this UPC code is a Factory Magazine and comes with a yellow follower. Buds is just using the incorrect stock photo of the Mec-Gar Magazine.

Kent, Yes this magazine will fit and function in your PT92. Buy it NOW. They were out of stock for a couple years. Hard to find extra Taurus magazines for any of their firearms. Get them when you see them if you want them.

yes the 17 round mags will work just fine the 15 round Mecgar mags will also work ( I use them)

Kent, yes Sir it will. The 17rd and 10rd Magazines are the same physical size. The 10rd just has an internal blocker to limit it to 10rds for sale in restricted capacity States.

does this magazine fit the Taurus PT24/7 pro 9 mm? Weapon came with 17 round magazine, and this is the only Taurus magazine I can find now with 17 round capacity

After loading 5 or 6 rounds they begin to rattle. They function fine but that rattle is very annoying not to mention disappointing. The one's I received have yellow followers for what it is worth. Pricing and shipping were excellent and I place no fault on Bud's thinking maybe I just got a couple that slipped through Taurus's quality control.

Great magazine. It's a factory original, just like the other two that came with my Taurus PT92. Functions perfectly. Sometimes the spring and follower act a bit wobbly when you are loading rounds into the mag, but once it's fully loaded, it works perfectly and functions well, just like it's supposed to. Thanks again Buds for the great prices and fast shipping.

I ordered the Taurus model PT92 magazine, item number 5-11091-17. It was a factory magazine in the Taurus package, so I knew it would fit. It was easy to load and fit the pistol with no effort. I will be trying it out this weekend. I got the right part at a good price.
