The transaction with Bud’s was smooth from start to finish. The fit and finish of the rifle was flawless. This is a very fun and relatively inexpensive firearm to shoot. I’ve only shot the rifle standing offhand at 25 yards. I found it to be very accurate. At that distance it does require a 6 o’clock hold to hit bullseye even at the lowest elevation setting. Great gun overall.

Absolutely love the Henry Golden Boy large loop 22 LR. I've shot Mountain grouse with it and the biggest coon I've ever seen (over 40 lbs). The lever is silky smooth in action. Would highly recommend this gun. Beautiful craftsmanship in addition to everything else.

The piece I ordered is a Henry Golden Boy H004l, what more can I say? It is beautiful and extremely well made, just as I expected. Delivery took a little longer than I expected due to all of the covid19 stuff going on but that was not Bud's fault. I will buy from Bud's again.

Wow! Yes It is a 22 rifle. Think what you may but this thing is amazing. It is smooth as silk when manipulating the lever, it's accurate as the dickens and it will cycle three different ammunitions long short and long rifle. Add to that it will cycle collibri subsonic standard velocity high velocity anything you throw at it. I woulld highly recommend this to anyone

Great rifle, good weight and balance. Accurate so far up to 100 yards. I make my own targets to keep my skill high. I glue penny's on a 5" x 10" piece of card board. After the initial break in/getting use to it 25 rounds. I am @ 50% 3 shot max to nail my coin at 100 yards. The other 50% I am either 1 or 2 shots for the prize. When I do take 3 shots the ones that miss the coin are close enough that if it was a quarter my score would be a good 87% 1 shot and 13% on the 2nd for a kill shot. Can't wait till summer, My son and I go squirrel hunting and we thin out the population very well. Remember that the only way to hunt squirrel with a .22 is head shots only. And a squirrel's head is a lot bigger than a penny.
I am going for a 30-30 or a 30 06 next. My son and I want to stretch our distance 200 to 300 yards. We plan on adding a scope but it will be a blast, no pun intended.

Looks pretty, works great. Sights were off about 2" right at 25 yd out of the box, but that's not wholly unexpected and quite easily remedied with a brass punch and light hammer. As ever, Bud's ships fast.
