Beautiful shotgun, well balanced, a looker for sure. Patterned well though I checked only at 25 yards. You want go wrong with this gun.

Excellent SXS for the price point. Quick target acquisition and easy to carry in the field. It comes with a hard plastic case that keeps the unassembled weapon safe from dings and makes for easy storage in a vehicle. I'm a fan of the English style stock and the stock's wood quality is good. Purchased this shotgun for two reasons: (1) I don't have the longest arms, at 5'8" in height, and wanted a shotgun that I could bring up easily when wearing a heavier coat, and (2) it was a dead ringer for the used 1913 Ithaca 20 gauge SXS by Dad bought for me on my 10th birthday. The $100 rebate from CZ USA was an unexpected bonus. This is a great little upland gun and of higher quality than similarly priced SXS shotguns I've considered purchasing. Purchase process with Bud's was simple and the gun arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

CZ Bobwhite G2 Intermediate: Sweet Compact Side by Side I found the CZ Bobwhite G2 Intermediate 20 gauge on Bud's while looking for something else. I was interested in it because of the shorter barrels and stock. I purchased another brand of side by side a couple of years ago. It had 28" barrels, length of pull 14.5" and overall length of 45" and I've always wished it were shorter. This CZ Bobwhite Intermediate has 26" barrels, a 14" length of pull, and overall length of 42". I was still a little nervous about ordering it due to the low price under $700. I had a hard time believing the quality could be very good at that price. A few years ago, Turkish made shotguns did not have a very good reputation. However, the online reviews I checked were uniformly positive so I took a chance and placed my order. When I picked it up from the FFL to say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. It is a beautiful little 20 gauge side by side. The metal finish is an even satiny black and more than attractive enough for a working shotgun. The walnut stock was surprisingly nice with attractive straight grain and a beautiful satin finish. The 1/2" recoil pad was a nice touch. The straight stock makes it easy to move from one trigger to the other. It is light and well balanced and points well from the shoulder. So far I've only shot it to check function and pattern it, but it shoots well. I had no failures to fire. The shotgun opens and closes smoothly. Spent shells extract properly. The safety does not automatically engage, which I appreciate. Overall, I am very pleased with the Bobwhite G2 Intermediate side by side 20 gauge. Don't let the low price fool you. This is a quality, good looking side by side shotgun which is surprisingly affordable. The compact size of the Intermediate is a welcome bonus which is difficult to find in side by sides. Now, if CZ would just add an intermediate .410 to their Bobwhite lineup...

This is a classic side by side shotgun for people who actually plan to shoot...but want to look good doing it. It's very light weight, but doesn't kick you to death. Your buddies with $2k guns might pick on you, but they're probably snobs anyway. I have no regrets and would/may buy another!

Nice gun for the price point. Fit and finish are very good. Action was a little tight at first but with grease and use has freed up some. Natural pointing well balanced.

Had a CZ Bobwhite in 20 gauge a few years ago but sold it to a friend's wife who was just getting into upland hunting. I bought this new G2 Intermediate model because I missed my old model Bobwhite. There have been some changes made to the Bobwhite line of shotguns. This model is a little smaller in that the stock's length of pull has been shortened by .5 inches, (14 inches), and the barrels are 2 inches shorter at 26 inches. This gun is fairly light weight and comes up very quickly. I'll probably use this model for grouse and woodcock hunting mostly. The five chokes that come with it should cover all your needs. Two shots is about all the shots I'll get at a flushing bird where I hunt so being a side by side shotgun is no issue. In fact I prefer hunting with double barrels, either over/under or side by sides when I grouse hunt. The fact that is can take 3" magnum shells might make it usable for pheasant hunting or occasional duck hunting is a plus too, but I'd probably use a 16 or 12 gauge for most of that hunting. I patterned this gun with some of my reloads at 35 yards and both barrels are regulated nicely and the patterns overlapped to center. I'm looking forward to next grouse season and hunting over my dog with this gun all day in the north woods. Between now and then I plan on shooting some sporting clays with it.

I received my 20 gauge 26" Bobwhite from Bud's in a reasonable time frame, well packaged, and undamaged. The Bobwhite is of very good workmanship, well finished, and as good as if not of better quality than I expected at the price point. Thanks, CZ for an excellent product and Bud's for excellent service. For upland or the skeet range an excellent choice at the current pricing. 5 stars to Buds, CZ, and my local FFL.
