Everything you need nothing you don’t. No place to put a light, no optics cut on the slide, just a compact flat shooting reliable gun. The trigger is decent and seems to be breaking in nice. The green front sight is easy to track for fast follow ups. The short barrel + port & comp make this a little louder and there’s definitely a more carbon build up than usual. All that said the porting works, the grip texture is great and keeps this thing flat as a board. Love shooting it and I’ll be carrying this daily.

EXCELLENT FIREARM PERFORMANCE CENTER MAKES IT EVEN BETTER WITH THE NIGHT SIGHTS AND PERFORATED BARREL THAT HELPS COMPENSATE EVERY SHOT TAKEN. THE KICK BACK IS VERY SOFT. 12 ROUNDS AND EASY TO CARRY, YOU ALSO GET A FLASHLIGHT AND POCKET KNIVE XTRA. GREAT VALUE.

I changed over from a customized Glock 21 gen 4 to this 9mm shield plus and it has since been my everyday carry… performance center out performed themselves with this one and to be honest I love having the safety on it.. it may just be preference but it does not get in the way and ergonomically it feels good plus that trigger upgrade makes it a dream to shoot. I don’t know how to explain what I mean when I say this gun doesn’t let you flinch while shooting because of how smooth the trigger is. Fiber optic sights are very nice and as far as the ported barrel I can’t say that at 3.1” it would make a huge difference but then again I haven’t shot the non ported version so I won’t speak on that.

My EDC was a S&W Performance Center M&P Shield M2.0 9mm which is great as long as using 8rd extended mag for full grip. I'm super happy I upgraded to the Shield Plus. Almost identical except better trigger and grip is slightly larger which fits my hand even better (as long as using 13rd extended mag). Same issue as other review regarding the slide release being difficult but not severe enough to be a huge complaint.

Happy with it, EXCEPT: 2 issues.. Firstly, this product says "this image is stock photo, please read the description"--the description says "Safety: No thumb safety". This product did in fact come with a thumb safety.. Secondly, the slide release is the hardest I've felt out of any gun I've had. It takes two thumbs to release the slide, and I'm a 6'4" former Marine. Filed it down slightly on the edges, and it works fine now; but I shouldn't have to do that. The safety is also stiff as hell, but I leave it off anyway--which is why I wanted no thumb safety. Aside from all that, great gun, fast shipping.
