I have the 2.0,Plus,and now the Performance Center. All are very well made and precisely what they are designed for,effective carry 9mm pistols. Budsgunshop has very good prices and customer service. BEWARE though that twice the advertised rebates Were Not honored by S and W as they were for in store sales only.Very deceptive to prominently promote rebates that do not apply.

Likes: the gun fits my hand fairly well; definitely better than the standard M&P 2.0, thanks to the slimmer grip frame. I have average to slightly above average size hands for those of you considering buying one of these for yourself. The magazines seem to be of good quality. The followers are a bit different from what I'm used to so it took me a minute to get used to loading the first round in them. The 10 round mag was easy enough to fully load, but I only managed to get 12 into the 13 round magazine. I didn't take the mag loader provided to the range but I'm sure if I had, I could have squeezed in that last cartridge. The Performance Center tuned trigger is about as good as you'd expect from any other quality pistol for EDC. I'd put it on the same level as the Sig P365 XL, and FAR ahead of any of Glock's 43 or 48 series guns. I realize the fiber optic sights aren't for everyone, but if you like them, this pistol has a great set. They pick up light well, they aren't so big that they obscure the target, and they're right on the money from the factory. The gun is plenty accurate for home defense or CCW purposes. I'm no marksman but at 7 yards I could put up a 10 or 12 round group on target, in an area small enough to cover with my fist, and could do so consistently with any of the 6 different types of ammo I took with me: 115 grain CCI Blaser FMJ 158 grain Fiocchi flat nose FMJ 124 grain Federal Punch JHP 115 grain Winchester Silvertip JHP 115 grain Winchester white box JHP 124 grain Underwood Nosler JHP P All grouped well and in roughly the same area on paper and all rounds fired, functioned flawlessly, so it seems the gun isn't picky. The one negative for me, and the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is the grip texture. It is very rough and grainy, which isn't bad in terms of holding the gun or shooting most standard pressure ammo, but I noticed more muzzle flip with the Federal Punch ammo than I expected, which caused the grain of the polymer grip to bite into my palm a bit, and the Underwood ammo was downright unpleasant. Were I to carry this gun or use it in most any defensive capacity as is, I would limit my defensive ammunition to lighter (115 to 124 grain) standard pressure varieties. My next move from here though will be to try out a hogue wrap around grip on it to cut out that gritty grip feel. Hopefully that will make it more tolerable to shoot hotter ammo out of and just generally more pleasurable to overall. It's a fine pistol from a good company (despite some QC issues in the past) and now carries a great reputation from tons of internet experts who have reviewed it. By-and-large, I have to concur that if you want a reliable, accurate 9mm pistol for personal defense and your not particularly recoil sensitive, you'd be remiss to just overlook this one. It's a keeper. ��

Great shooting pistol. Fiber optic sights were great in bright light but not do good in dim light. Four stars out of five because of the sights.

Couldn’t decide between the standard 3.1 and the 4 inch. I liked the original 2.0 in 4 inch but could not convince myself to buy it when what i had outclassed it. Like this as the bigger brother to the 3.1 i regularly carry. Now i wish it was ported. Great concealability, i like the 10-rnd with pearse extension. I just like the fit and function over the hellcat rdp and Glock 43x. Awesome buy, no regrets (can I have it ported please???) Buds service was excellent
