  The SAFE ACTION® System is a fully automatic safety system consisting of three passive, independently operating, mechanical safeties. ... The trigger safety is designed to prevent the pistol from firing if it's dropped or if the trigger is subjected to any pressure that isn't a direct firing pull. So it's just describing the safety features, it has 3, trigger safety, firing pin safety and drop safety. Hope this helps.

  Frank, being on sale and being a 40S&W caliber had the price low. Since Law Enforcement is switching back primarily to 9mm, 40's are starting to flood the market and the low prices are vendors trying to sell these less popular lower demand 40 caliber pistols.

• Q: I have never understood the whole 9mm vs .40 caliber debate. I am wondering why there is so much animosity towards the .40 caliber. In particular the hatred directed towards the G23 compared to the G19. Can someone explain (in detail) to me why so much hatred? The cops where I live carried the G23 .40 cal and G22 .40 cal full size for a long time now before transitioning to the G17 and G19. Is it because the .40 cal has fallen out of favor with police officers?

  This is strictly a LE perception created by all the LE trade ins and low prices. I don't mind as you can find LE trade ins at a steal so the more the merrier for me. Perception is a powerful thing, even when unfounded.
