Purchased new and rifle was defective and Remington changed owners and will not Honor the lifetime warranty. I did not buy the buds warranty being Remington had a lifetime warranty so I am stuck with a factory defected firearm. Remington has really dropped the ball on Quality and Craftsmanship. I love my older Remington rifles but the new ones are cheaply made. I will never buy another Remington .

Basic no frills rifle I bought to turn into a target rifle. Didn’t need much work as it came very accurate out of the box. Did a good barrel break-in routine and has been easily .5 moa. Can’t beat it.

This rifle was shipped very promptly, and arrived in exactly the shape it was in when it left the factory. Unfortunately for me, this rifle has a defective chamber and won't shoot accurately since the brass is clamping down on the bullet very tightly due to the chamber not being properly cut! Apparently Remington cut back on the Quality Control department. It's hard to believe Remington is shipping defective firearms but they are. I'm shipping the barreled action to a gunsmith tomorrow to have a new barrel installed, I could send it back to Remington but they'd probably just send me another piece of junk. Hopefully the action is OK, the gunsmith I spoke to today said it seems as though half of the actions Remington is producing are defective mostly due to bolt issues. But that's not the fault of Buds Gun Shop.
