Taurus GX4 Micro-Compact Black/Gray 9mm Pistol - 3.06" Barrel, 11+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips

My 3rd Taurus purchased from Buds. With every Taurus installment, I search Buds for my next version to my collection. Buds and Taurus are a good combination. Taurus is a very dependable weapon. I have never had a malfunction with good ammo.

Picked this up for my carry gun. Already have a Taurus G3 that has worked flawlessly for a 1000+ rounds, so I was confident this would be reliable. Only been through a few hundred rounds with the GX4 at this point, but no complaints. I made a spreadsheet of a dozen similar guns to compare size, especially thickness, as well as price, manual safety, sights, etc. Price was a big consideration for me, but the GX4 measured up to all the others. My only complaint is that the rear sight is black serrated steel, not white dot or U. It's a matter of preference so I didn't drop any stars. Picked up a Glock rear sight on Amazon and will be swapping out. I also picked up the modification kits to make one if the included 11 round mags a 13 round and to add pinky extension on the other. If you have bigger hands it's a good idea and it doesn't really affect the printing when carrying concealed. If you are looking at the GX4 to carry, just be advised that the coarseness of the grip can catch on t shirts, but if you have a button or something bigger it's not an issue. The coarse grip is actually a nice feature of Taurus's striker fire line. Just be aware. As always, purchase process with Bud's was without issue. I've bought a few guns and a lot of ammo from them and never had a problem.

Yesterday I received from Buds my Taurus GX4 and immediately took it to the range, shooting approximately 120 rounds of SIG 365 and Hornady Critical Defense Ammo. By way of introduction, I’m retired law enforcement and own and regularly shoot multiple handguns including an M&P Shield 40, SIG P365, Beretta PX4 Storm Sub-compact and others. I am extremely pleased with my new GX4: comfortable in the hand; excellent magazines, great shooter (no FTFs or any other malfunctions); very easy to disassemble for cleaning; good sights; comfortable to carry and very good trigger. I am also very pleased with the obvious overall quality of the gun. Taurus has really stepped up their game! I highly recommend!

I received my GX4 on time that Buds said I would get it. Gun was in excellent condition. The only thing is that when I put in the self defense rounds they would not feed. I polished the feed ramp and put some target rounds through it. Then I tried my self defense rounds through it and had no problems with it. It feed the rounds smooth as butter. I'm very happy with my GX4 and Buds. 👍👍
