Overall a really nice .22lr handgun. The first round out of the magazine jammed up a few times the first time I took it out. But once I put about 100 rounds through it, it functioned smoothly without any issue. Got a love that it’s red dot ready out of the box, has the suppressor height sites with an already threaded barrel for some real nice quiet time when you add your suppressor.

This has been a pleasant surprise to shoot , in the money would be a good way to put this gun . What a fun time we had at the range other this gun , I said I’m not parting with this one !! Well fast forward later that day I was selling one of my guns and this guy wanted my 22 and I said not for sale , well it sold with the other gun he really wanted it but I’m sure Buds will see another one in my cart .

The FN 502 is a great gun for shooting 22s. I probably own eight or more 22 hand guns and this one by far is the best. It never fails to feed all types of 22 ammo. Never jams and is a great gun to shoot.

Nice pistol. Trigger pull is better than some other 22 pistols I have. The higher capacity magazine is what drew me the most to this FN/Umarex.

I've had the FN 502 Tactical now for about 2 weeks and I've fired around 1800-2000 rounds of 36 grain copper plated 22lr. The firearm itself is comfortable and a true joy to shoot though I've had one issue with a mounting plate and one disappointment so far with factory sights. The firearm comes with blacked out sights both front and rear. This is worthless and I have not found replacement sights nor have I looked to see if FN509 sights would work. I understand I can simply put some paint of my choice etc on the front sight but it is 2022 and no customer should have to do this with any firearm sights period. Due to the blacked out sights I proceeded to purchasing Holosun 507C X2 red dot and used the provided mounting plate with RMR footprint. After 1800-2000 rounds the red dot lost zero several times. Today I removed the red dot to find one of the plastic alignment pins had sheered off and stuck in my red dot. The mounting plates are made of plastic, but from the alignment pin sheering off clearly the composite plastic is not quality. I understand the mounting plates were probably made from plastic to keep the slide weight down with a red dot installed to decrease cycling issues, but FN dropped the ball on cheap plastic. I reached out to FN today to get a replacement RMR mounting plate sent to me. I most likely will have a local CNC shop make me an aluminum mounting plate if this issue happens again with the replacement mounting plate. Aside from the blacked out front/rear sights and mounting plate issue, the FN 502 so far has been a true joy to shoot. I have laser accurate 1-inch grouping from 3 feet to about 15 yards out and around 2-inch grouping at 25 yards all landing center of a 4" target. I have not fired it suppressed yet, but am looking forward to doing so once I have the mounting plate replaced. If the front iron sight was not blacked out and the mounting plate pin did not break this firearm would be a solid 5 star. I still would recommend this 22LR to anyone looking and these are minor issues. budsgunshop was exceptional with online firearm ordering and shipping to my local FFL quickly even with these crazy times.
