Absolutely as impressive as expected! Recoil was as expected, no more than a 1-2 inch rise. Kick was as expected, minimal. My shooting partner noticed how complete my groupings were on the target, looking over my shoulder! He asked me did I see what I did? I said Yes! Hitting the target exactly where I was aiming! Obviously, very pleased with my purchase! Thank you Bud's!!

No issues with purchasing the shotgun from buds as usual, came in pristine condition. Came with an extra choke tube I did not expect to get. No complaints at all with this shotgun so far!

A year or so ago I could only find the 1301 in their silver Marine coat and got one but still always wanted the black flavor. Slapped a pistol grip stock on it like the silver one and its run flawlessly. I'd highly recommend 1301 if you want a super reliable semi-auto that's light, and shoots anything without hiccups.

Great defensive shotgun that runs flawlessly. The gas system significantly reduces recoil, and the shotgun is so well balanced that handling is easy.
