never got the rifle…added shipping insurance and they are doing everything possible to keep from paying a refund or shipping another rifle…been over a month…do not use Buds for anything!

Great firearm, love the trigger, the front sight is fiber optic and easy to change the color to green if you want, its pretty snappy being a compact but not uncontrollable... I have also tested shooting 40 cal out of it and it works just fine, would definitely buy again!!

I’ve owned this gun for awhile now but just had a chance to shoot it. This review won’t be too complete because I was just shooting it on a 50 yard range just to get used to it see how it functions. The gun shot and fed ammo through it flawlessly. The empty cases flew several feet from where I was. The recoil was stout but manageable. It didn’t kick as bad as I thought it would. It was relatively easy to control the gun, even though I was using standard 10 mm factory loads. Never experienced a jam or failure of any kind. I wanted this gun for self defense and wanted something more than a 9 mm. The gun is very well made, comfortable in my hands is relatively light. Much lighter than a compact 1911. The magazines hold 10 rounds. The magazines are very well made and slick to insert and remove. They fall out easily and don’t have to be pulled out of the magazine well. The magazine well is flared and the magazine releases are ambidextrous. This is the first Springfield Armory XD I’ve owned and see now why they’re so popular. I may get a full size XD-M in 10 mm in the future. I really like this gun and I’m very happy with its performance and handling. It’s a great self defense gun.
