Springfield knocked it out of the park on this one . Everything is included on this one , no extras needed . Buy some Wilson ss mags & be done . Included mags also work fine (2) . If there were a negative it would be the slide should have been Cerakoted in place of the bluing for ease of care . Fit ,finish was excellent on my example !

This is how I received this gun. I have not contacted Bud's yet to see how they handle this. So I'll adjust the stars after I see if they replace it .

This is a beautiful piece of hardware! It feels amazing in the hands, great grip, and good weight....very solid. It's very accurate, cycles well with zero jams/malfunctions and with it's bull barrel the recoil and muzzle flip is reduced. The udot sites provide good site picture and quick target acquisition. I wish the rear site was a night site, too. I also wish that the trigger wasn't plastic. Side note, if your going to use this as your edc, make sure that you clean and oil it often, to include under the grips as it will rust if you sweat while wearing it.

The grips on this are aggressive and I freakin' love them. For factory grips they are the best. The SA trigger is great especially considering it's a 1911 but with it being a flat - it feels that much better. I liked this so good I bought 2 of them.

The 1911 Emissary is the best pistol. Good handling. Accurate with 230 ball. Love the Emissary. Buds is super nice and got it to me fast. I have had very good luck with Bud's.
