While the Sidekick models an old school cowboy revolver keeping with that classic look and feel, Diamondback added features like the cylinder release being incorporated to the old school ejection rod, a cool smooth black Cerakote finish, and checkered polymer grip panels. Diamondback also went with a rear integral and a fixed front blade sight which is wildly important when you need to be quick on the draw. The Sidekick is not only chambered in 22Lr with a 9-shot cylinder but also comes with an additional 9-shot cylinder chambered in 22Mag, allowing you to enjoy a firearm that is great for self-defense with manageable recoil, hunting small game, pest control, as well as some enjoyable and inexpensive target practice.

You can’t beat this for the price. It cycles just like it is supposed to with both .22 lr. And .22 mag. Accuracy is also good. A fun and inexpensive little gun for shooting.

Fun shooter. Bud's price and delivery is great. Your mileage may vary according to what you're using for ammo in this pistol. Experiment with many kinds of 22 LR because some are going to come right out of the cylinder after shooting and some are going to try and be permanent residents.

Great revolver, been looking for a small caliber revolver with more than 6 shots and the .22 and .22 mag combo is a plus. The trigger is a bit heavy but it is very accurate. The gun seems well built and feels good in my hand some good heft for a small pistol.

The double action pull weight is definitely hefty but overall this is a fun plinker. I love the swing out cylinder. I hope the Diamondback comes out with some other variants.

Overall for the price of these guns it is a great little revolver, out of the box it does take a bit to get it broke in , they are a bit gritty at first but after a couple boxes of ammo and a couple times cleaning it does smooth out nicely. fit and finish is what would be expected at this price point. accuracy is good, my only complaint would be the way the cylinder is removed, it is very possible to loose the plunger and spring that retain it in place if your not careful,

I watched a lot of reviews of this gun and must have missed the ones that talked about the heavy double action trigger pull. Its so heavy, its hard to make an accurate shot in double action. But love the single action, the 9 rounds and the easy unloading and reloading. I think as a single action 22 cowboy style revolver, its not to bad for the price when compared to one with only 6 rounds and a side loading gate. I like it for the most part. The grip is a little small for my hand. The trigger guard digs into my knuckle a bit as compared to the other 6 shooters I have. Out of the box it shoots dead center, but a little low. I can work with that. Buds was great on price and shipping.
