Outstanding rifle for the price! I have shot a variety of over 1,500 rounds through this rifle so far, ranging from 125gr to 180gr, and many in between. The only issue I’ve run into was due to cheap ammo, and had nothing to do with the rifle. This rifle, with the stock barrel (after breaking in) was capable of shooting dimes at 200yds with good quality ammo. Although this rifle would fall into the “budget AR10” category, it functions perfectly. The BCG is proprietary, but it is very nicely made. It’s shot-peened and magnetic particle inspected, Mil-Spec 8620, with a laser etched logo. It also has a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, making it very smooth to the touch, and giving it a very slick finish. Since purchasing this rifle, I have made several upgrades. The picture was taken after swapping the barrel for an 18in Criterion DPMS pattern hybrid barrel, and a Surefire ProComp muzzle brake for improved accuracy and recoil mitigation; as well as a Rise Armaments trigger swap. Overall, I really like this rifle, and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, with it or Diamondback Firearms service department. They have been very helpful and quick to respond to every question I’ve sent there way.

Was very impressed with the very low recoil. Would recommend for smaller framed people for big game hunting.
