This is a quality pistol, and I’m happy with it. Minor complaint is that there a lot sharp edges which tends to catch on holster and belt. I carry 1911s all the time, and have not had this issue with my others. It’s tight and takes some breaking in. Shoots well and sights are decent out of box.

This is a fine firearm. It has a nice trigger and the finish is flawless. The only improvement would be adjustable sights.

Bud's shipping was timely considering the holiday season, the Springfield Garrison is an awesome pistol, this is my second one. It did require a break in, it had a lot of failures to eject in about the first 40 rounds and then started running flawlessly with the stock mag and mecgar 8's running Remington 230 grain hardball, blazer brass and 230 grain federal hydroshock.

Very happy with my purchase. Did same as cash price with checking account draft. Took a little longer, but saved some cash. Was looking for a loaded model, would have had the polished finish, this was what I went with. Looked at the Vickers Delta model, and did some research. Vickers did not go with the ambidextrous safety for carry purposes, that was my deciding factor for this purchase. Great gun, great store. Big thumbs up!

I’m really like this pistol, my first 1911 and not my last. I’m no expert but I think the fit and finish on this Springfield is top shelf, especially at this price point. If you’re on the hunt for a well made great running weapon, this is it.
