Bruce, yes sir you sure can. This is basically a heritage rough rider with a short barrel and birds head pistol grip. So the heritage 22 mag cylinder will fit and function just fine. Hope this helps.

Robert, unfortunately no. The revolver must have a barrel of at least 3" and OAL od 7.5". Robert, this one's not legal in California due to the barrel being under 3 inches. Here's a link to a barkeep that is legal in California, it has a 3.6 inch barrel.
