Bergara B-14 rifles were inspired by the desire to bring Bergara custom rifle quality to production rifles made for all hunters. The B-14 Series brings Bergara Barrel accuracy to a line of hunting rifles affordable to serious big-game hunters. All B-14 rifles are capable of producing sub-1.0 MOA groups or less at 100 yards using factory match grade ammunition. The B-14 Timber features a Monte Carlo style walnut stock with a raised comb and cheek piece. The stock is bedded with integral pillars for stability and enhanced accuracy. This hunting rifle has a #3 Bergara 4140 CrMo steel barrel with a black cerakote finish. It is complemented by Bergara's own super-smooth B-14 Action, a two-lug system with a Sako-style extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to ensure smooth feeding and extraction of the cartridge. Outfitted with a Bergara curved trigger, it is designed to guarantee a crisp, clean pull every time you fire the rifle, and comes set at about three pounds. It has been factory drilled and tapped to fit Remington 700-style rings and bases. This B-14 Timber short action model has a 22" barrel, hinged floorplate, and a 4+1 capacity.

At first, I thought "Ok... I just bought a copy of a Winchester Model 70 since this one costs over $1700..." I had no idea how wrong I was... this bolt rifle is a gem, easy to clean, crisp trigger and best of all, the Bergara warranty that comes with. the internal mag can be switched for the external with more capacity, and that's is the cons for this gun... those components are always out of stock due to being too popular. overall this is a great replacement for your hunting needs and great budget rifle.

The Bergara B14 Timber is a beautiful rifle. Like a like new truck you’re afraid to park next to any vehicle in a parking lot. Well, I feel the same way about taking this rifle in the woods. Once I place the order with Buds, I bought a box of Sierra 130 gr. and 140 gr. bullets and a box of Hornady 143 gr. bullets. After a long laborious task of breaking in this barrel, I found some promising loads for this rifle. So far this particular Bergara likes the Sierra Green Tip 130 gr. bullet and Reloader 17 thus giving me a sub MOA @ 100 yards. I still have H4350 powder to test out on the bullets I have but I got a feeling I’m going to be happy as a clam at high tide with this rifle. The only negative thing I found was loading the bullets into the magazine. I don't have any problems feeding the first 2, it's just the 3rd round I have problems with. I'm not sure if it's operator problem, problem with the magazine or the bullets. Like always, Buds has great service.
