So I'm a very small statute woman, I've had family and law enforcement in the military most of my life. My husband is an ex-service member did 6 years in the military and the two tours overseas. So least to say I'm well versed in firearms, I was actually surprised that the actual spread that was produced by this buckshot, my husband remembers telling me about the Mossberg 590 that he had when he was in and they only use particular type of buckshot because it produced a particular spread pattern consistently. Highly recommend this product the only thing is it does cost a lot but is it worth it that's totally up to you
