Built on a fully-machined steel frame and slide, the MC1911 S Hunter features a long-hole hammer, slide serrations, skeletonized trigger and an extended beavertail with checkering. The rear sight is a fully adjustable EAA Super Sight. The Girsan MC1911S Hunter in 10mm is beautifully balanced for quick second shot recovery and the trigger pull is smooth and crisp, making this 10mm pleasant to shoot.

To start, My experience with the 1911 platform goes back about 15 years, so when I wanted to get something new a 10mm in that form just made sense. After reading several reviews of the Girsan models I was convinced that the their MC1911S10 Hunter was the one for me to purchase.. Buds offered the best price and after purchasing the gun arrived at my FFL within a few days and was packaged well. the gun is well made and the fit and finish is everybit as good if not better than my Kimber Custom II . I will post an addendum as to the shooting experience when I have a few hundred rounds on paper., but I am thrilled at the quality of this gun, EAA and Girsan are to be commended for the partnership whis is bringing some great pistols to the states!

Is a very awesome firearm defined this 10 mm with a 6 inch barrel was incredible the barrel length definitely gives you more accuracy when shooting further out could easily use this to hunt if choose to low recall for the strength of the 10 mm sites are set up easy to aim trigger pool is great after shooting it multiple times definitely am very happy with the purchase for the money I spent on this gun I believe it is unbeatable

For the price, this is a good option for entry level 10mm 1911! Trigger feels great right out of the box, very smooth operation, no gritty feeling while working the slide. Plus Buds was super helpful in the purchase! would recommend this to everyone!!

This is a great gun. Picked up before Christmas and got to shoot it today fired 60 rounds mixed HP and FMJ and functioned flawlessly with one small exception. At the end the front sight fell off. Minor disappointment. A little red Loctite should remedy the problem. Was planning on adding a fiber optic sight eventually anyway. I did own a Remington 10mm Hunter long slide which this one bears close resemblance to. The Remington did cost twice as much, but had more problems. The rear sight keep falling out on it and it suffered numerous malfunctions and seemed to be one of those 1911s that had a long break in time. So far this one is doing fine and is well worth the price

Great gun. Built like a Colt Series 70. This is a quality product and, in my opinion, every bit as good as any 1911 Colt I own (7). Trigger pull averaged 6.5 pounds for 5 pulls on the Lyman Trigger Pull gauge. I am an amateur gunsmith and was able to work it down to 3.7 pounds for 5 pulls. Its out-of-stock as I write this so put yourself on the notify list and get one when available.
