I love the rifle no problems at all out the box fired about 50 rounds the sight was a bit off to the left and low other than that nice only used round nose target ammo will get hollow points soon the rifle has some kick but nothing you can't handle I love it I live in Massachusetts so the non threaded barrel is all I could get hope hi point makes the 30 cal ntb in the future ppl shipping was fast ordered on Friday evening gun arrived Wednesday morning thanks buds ni will order again low price fast shipping

Most interesting firearm, I like the look, the feel, the size, the price wasn't too high, and other than the sights being lose and way off, shoots great. I do have a concern about the safety, you must turn off the safety, (move to the fire position) to open breech. (you need to open breech to chamber 1st round) I have only had my 1095TS for short time and I have not learned all the ins and outs but there has been more than a few times when I wanted to put safety on and it would not allow me to engage the safety. I have e-mailed Hi-Point about five times thru their website and have not received any replies. Not all my firearms have safeties, but the ones that do have a safety I like the that I can do anything, anytime, any condition (load, unload, open, inspect) with the safety on. Not that safeties are 100% safe, just gives one a thought of being safe. I will enjoy shooting this one.
