I received my 1927A1 a few days ago, as usual Bud's severance and shipping was was outstanding. This "carbine" was exactly what I wanted, fit and finish were better than expected in today's world of plastic gun furniture the 1927A1 has beautiful walnut stock and grips, and a nice blue black finish on nicely polished steel. This model also has the removable buttstock and a 14.5" barrel with a permanently fixed Cutts compensator. The Auto Ordnance model number is T1B14, which is important when ordering to verifying you are getting all the features you. Sometimes Buds descriptions are not complete, so order by manufacturers part number. Now for the nitty gritty: out of the box the 20rd stick mag would jam every two or three rounds, but after 3 mags it started shooting with only a few jams per mag and after 100 rds it it would fire a complete mag with no issues. The trigger pull is long but smooth and breaks at 4lbs, out of the box is was stiff and "crunchy" but quickly smoothed out by 100 rds. As others have stated this gun is heavy! But, it is manageable. I also bought a 50 rd drum and it shot perfectly. The gun is very accurate and I had no problem hitting a 6" gong at 100 yds. This is a great range fun gun. One of the few cons is the heavy springs and hard cooking, this also eased after break in, but is still very stiff. Overall this gun is pure fun to shoot and draws a crowd at the range. If you decide to o get one (and I highly recommend it) you also need to have a large supply of 45Acp because it has an insatiable appetite for ammo. Again I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Also planning on shooting at least 200rds for break in !
