Can you put a holosun red dot in this model or is there different footprints for this model

yes it is a direct fit on this mossburg

The receiver is pre-cut, drilled and tapped to accept mini-compact reflex sights. The footprint accepts a short list of micro-optics that include the Shield RMSc and SIG Sauer RomeoZero.

Can you ghost load a single round in this model?

The New, Optic-Ready 940 Pro Tactical Autoloader.

This 940 Pro model comes optic-ready, with receiver cuts that accept low-profile direct mounting of Shield RMSc-pattern micro dot sights— for improved eye alignment and target acquisition (a cover plate is included for when an optic is not in use).

Inside, you will find a durable gas system that allows for up to 1500 rounds between cleanings, and a host of corrosion-resistant internal parts/finishing (nickel boron-coated gas piston, magazine tube, hammer and sear); plus an enlarged/beveled loading port, elongated elevator, and anodized follower for smooth operation.

Outside, the adjustable stock allows for 1.75″ of LOP flexibility; the stock and streamlined forend feature Mossberg signature texturing for a secure grip; a barrel clamp provides accessory flexibility via M-LOK mounting slots; and a front fiber optic sight helps keep you on target.

This is one of the more impressive semi auto gas operating shotguns out there. Anything from bird shot to slugs cycles no problem. Mossberg really did a great job with the quality control. Washington state legal. Buds shipped it quick and FFL had no problem. 100% recommend.

This thing Fantastic. I added a Shiels SMSc sight to it before going to the range. Cycle beautiful out of the box. 7 plus 1 makes it seem like you have a lot of shots. Trigger pull is crisp. Chamber indicator is genius. This is my expensive Christmas gift to my self. I am glad I chose this over the A300. Thanks Jerry moss berg is great, this is my 5th Mossy Blaster.

Front site is not inline with the barrel, it is slanted left to right. I am hoping it won’t make a difference when I get to the range and shoot it. One would think the price would demand a bit higher quality standard. Or did this flaw allow for the better price by Buds?

Very nice semi-auto shotgun. Comes equipped with sling swivel studs, optics mounting location, and various butt stock length-of-pull and cast spacers. Overall, high quality look and feel. Except for the handguard. I feel that the plastic used for the handguard is a bit low quality. It is a thin, rather flimsy, plastic. Say, compared to a Remington 870 tactical handguard, or even the polymer used for rifle magazines. Another important note, not explained in the user manual, is the ammunition required. The action will not cycle unless a minimum 1200fps 1oz+ shotgun ammunition is used. No light load bird shot. Stick to high brass. This is often discussed in forums and was confirmed by a Mossberg customer service person. I experienced this firsthand when my first 4 consecutive shots failed to eject the spent shell. Handguard and ammunition aside, I am very satisfied with this product.

Shotgun was all it was advertised to be. Quality piece. Ran 50 rounds of buckshot and Federal target load with no problems with the firearm. Rio buckshot seemed to hang up a little. The shell was a little thick on these. The stock recoil pad is great and spacers are included to customize. Good stuff.
