The stinger 9mm is a great derringer. All the people I have showed it to really liked it.

Bought a .45ACP in a BOND ARMS derringer and decided to buy another caliber to see how a 9MM would be. So I got the multiple gun discount by buying both at once and thought, might as well see first-hand how they compare. These are quality-made, not cheap. They come in all calibers and many different barrel lengths. I think this is a better back-up gun than a skimpy .22 or .25. YES, you will only have 2-shots compared to six, but one shot from a 9MM or ,45ACP has a LOT more stopping power than 3-4 .22LR. Buy one, try one - but you might as well buy 2 to see what you like. I bought them in the calibers I already had so I did NOT have to buy special ammo for them. If you already have a 9MM, buy a derringer in 9MM, that way you are standardizing on ONE caliber. Same goes with the ,45. You can get a derringer in many calibers - but why start to create a new need for another caliber - like .357 or .380? Standardize. As for ordering through Bud's, not everyone likes to order online. I was leery on my first order but everything came through to the local FFL. I have ordered more from Bud's. At least they have what you are looking for. Most Gun Stores are a waste of time to go to - all the good stuff is either "out-of-stock" or waiting for a shipment that seems to never come. Deal with Bud's.

I bought my 9MM Bond Arms Stinger from Buds a couple months ago. It arrived at my local gun store just a couple days after my order, and was in fine condition. I dry fired it quite a few times while waiting to take it to the range, which I did yesterday. It performed very well, with Sellier & Bellot 115 grain FMJs. Non- +P. Recoil was easily managed. I did have some trouble seeing the front site, so I may paint it or apply a little colored sight tape on it. Not my first choice for CCW, nor even a good choice for a back-up, but a fun little gun to have and to shoot. I'm very happy with this derringer.
