This is a very well designed and built revolver. My only issue is the stock grip is really small and doesn’t allow for a firm grip on the firearm. There are several grip mods online that fix this problem. overall great firearm.

The gun arrived fast after it was shipped and the FFL I used was great. Bud's was great and always a good price at Bud's. The only complaint I have is that the Taurus 856 I received has patchy factory paint on it as there are dots on the gun where they are the original bare metal and not painted black. There's about 3 dots all the same exact size that are bare gun metal and not painted for some reason. Not sure whether to contact Taurus about this or not, the bare gun metal dots are close to where the gun says Ultra-Lite and right next to the cylinder release. Other than that, I'd highly recommend Bud's to anyone that wants a good experience and a good price. Note: Your gun will arrive with cosmoline grease on it as I believe Bud's procedure is to add some before shipping the firearm out, easy to wipe off.
