• Q: A similar Ruger SFAR shows muzzle brake - is this same? If so, any thread protector with it and/or easy to replace with flash hider?

  That sling has only one QD swivel so there is probably not anything to attach one end of it to on the rifle unless you add a ring attachment. Until then you could only use it as a single-point sling attached to the stock which would be a bit awkward. MAG518 or MAG953 might be better options that you can attach to the stock and the front of the handguard. The Holosun optic should be just fine though.

• Q: What do you recommend for a detachable sling mount for the SFAR?
  Also plan to get a bipod for it.... any recommendations?

  Hi Jeff, yes sir, the rifle-length gas system features a 0.750" 4-position rotary-regulator gas block to achieve ideal function across the wide range of ammunition available in the marketplace today. The included, on-board 3/16" ball-end wrench makes for easy regulator adjustment.
