Got this gun last february for my grandson. Put it in service this season. It's nearly impossible to load. It literally needs to be re machined. Even disassembly is difficult because it binds up. It's not cycling fully in one out of 3 shots. We are using high brass 6 shot for small game, not field loads. It is NOT a cheap gun price wise but it is definitely a cheaply made gun. Not worth half the price.

The Mossberg SA series is light, compact and probably the best auto loader made specifically for turkey hunting. The included choke for 20ga is about .585 which with some TSS may be just fine. The factory sights are OK and with the rail the addition of a red dot or scope is easy. No negatives yet.

So far has cycled everything from 7/8 oz target loads to Apex tss without a hitch. Great pattern at 40 yds with Apex tss and Indian Creek .562 choke. Turkish workmanship on this gun is impressive. Removed the rail, replaced with Sumtoy mount for Holosun 507c. Places the optic at least 1/4” lower. Great cheek weld! I like the gun a lot. Only beef is the lousy trigger. Is in the mail to Dave Sommerfeldt to fix that. Will have to wait til next year to hunt with it. 4 stars is for the trigger.

I was trying to find the best bang for my buck on a new turkey gun. This one exceeds expectations. It’s incredibly light, the grip feels great. They did a great job with the dip. My only gripe is that it has a pretty bad trigger. I could hold the gun on the trigger and it wouldn’t fire. It’s anywhere between a 5-7lb pull. Thankfully a 3rd party brand makes a trigger release spring that drops the trigger pull by 40%. Other than that, overall an amazing gun. Looking forward to throwing TSS at some turkey heads.

For the money, can’t beat the SA20. Easy to tote all day and patterns unbelievable up to 40 yards.. I have many turkey shotguns and this one would be hard to leave in the safe. Great gun!
