Exactly as advertised. Lightweight design and small size makes it a great concealed carry dependable revolver for self-defense. The easy to use/no brainer "Crimson Trace" option allows for quick point and shoot in all light conditions. Shoots either .38 Special or the +P cartridge for ammunition. It totally fits my needs. Highly recommended and I would not hesitate to purchase this pistol again. Bud's order processing and shipment to my FFL was seamless.

First, the order process and delivery was first rate! The revolver arrived in good shape, and is noticeably lighter than its steel counterpart. A great carry option. The Crimson Trace grip was woefully off…over six inches off at ten feet. And, sadly, the adjustment tool was not in the box. I can get a replacement tool, so no big deal…and in reality, not Bud’s issue. The revolver shoots well…recoil not bad at all for the weight. I’m giving 4 stars only because tool was missing.

I like this revolver, but know that the crimson trace laser is offset from the barrel on 2 axes and not just 1. Still great for close targets.

I purchased the S&W 38 Model 637 and took it to the range to familiarize my self with this gun. I really like the feel and the Crimson Trace Laser grips. I have big hand and the Crimson Laser Grips add some size to the grip so that is another plus for me. The laser sights were way off so I adjusted them with the supplied tool and will go back to the range to try it out again. My wife really liked the smallish size of the gun and the lightness is an added bonus. It is perfect for those that carry like I do. I also purchased a Relentless Tactical holster which fits the gun perfectly even with the laser sight and hammer the Model 637 has. I really like that when you have the gun in your hand the laser automatically turns on. There is an off switch at the bottom of the grips to turn the laser off if you wish. Buds shipped the gun quickly to my local gun shop but the quoted registration fee was not correct for that shop so check with your shop first for the fee.

This is a good grip/laser and gun combination. Grip is much better than original and only a little larger for concealment. Button for laser activates easier than on larger crimson trace revolver grips. Women find it easier. Highly recommended.

The firearm is everything advertised by the seller. I have never had a problem with Buds. I will never buy a firearm elsewhere!

Very reliable as every J frame I have ever had is. It is a good, light carry gun. CT Lasergrips were very close to dead on out of the box. Bud's was great as always.

Excellent S&W 637 laser! Easy on target, especially since this is a revolver. Laser is a tremendous help to line up your shot. With a snubbie barrel, laser gives accuracy a boost. Thanks Bud's!

Super small and lightweight. The extra finger length is great for my hand size, but with the easy trigger pull and size, will have to fight the wife to carry it. Fast shipping and great communication with Buds. Signing up with Crimson Trace for free batteries for life is a plus also.

Well made gun with outstanding fit and finish. As designed, it is a very lightweight and very compact concealed carry or back up pistol. And also as expected, the light weight that makes it effortless to carry, also transmits a powerful kick when firing it. So it's not a range gun--its a carry gun. Even firing a few rounds for familiarization with wad cutters makes your hand smart. And firing a service load of 38SPL +P is just uncomfortable. Still, it is accurate for such a small belly gun. The primary advantage of the factory furnished crimson trace is that it provides about 1/2" more on the hand grip allowing for a firm and solid grasp with 2 fingers and the little finger comfortably on the butt. My only criticism is that my crimson trace laser needed major adjustment out of the box. The azumth was spot-on true, but elevation was over a foot off of the round strike at 12' distance.
