I did a ton of research before I purchased my Taurus TX-22 Compact. I specifically wanted the "no manual safety" model which wasn't available at any of my local shops. Bud's had it in stock and ready to ship and they made the process very easy to order online and ship to my local FFL. I received e-mail notifications at each step of the process. Upon receipt, I did a careful inspection and found zero flaws on my brand new pistol. I did a preemptive clean and lube and added a red dot sight before my first range visit. I ran 300 rds of CCI Mini Mag CPHP through it almost flawlessly. I did have a single failure to feed when I racked the slide on my second magazine. I'm gonna chalk-that-up to user error, because I couldn't re-create it. This is a really fun gun. Accurate, easy to shoot. CHEAP to shoot, great grips and surprisingly excellent trigger with a crazy short reset. I carry a S&W Shield Plus and bought this Taurus for practice and plinking and because of the similar size and function to the S&W. The Taurus is about 1/2" longer, but height and thickness is nearly identical. I'm having a real blast (pun intended) with this pistol so far. I would definitely recommend it for beginners and experienced shooters alike.

this gun cycles everything any .22 trash bulk ammo this gun will take it … wouldn’t blink an eye at using this for my EDC
