The Taurus 856 Defender is a great option for a revolver that can do it all. The revolver is first chambered in the common 38 Special round allowing it to shoot a variety of ammunition loads. This is supported by the use of a stainless steel frame and barrel. The pistol has good ergonomics with the use of a double action/ single action trigger allowing for quick follow-up shots in double action. For finer precession shooting the pistol has a single-action option. Another feature of the revolver is the grip and its aggressive texture.
