I had another great experience with Buds, ordering this SIG P365 with manual safety. This was about my fifth or so firearm purchase thru Buds. I already owned one SIG P 365, without a safety, but the trigger seemed to be lighter than I was comfortable with while carrying concealed. So I purchased this one with the manual satety and took it to the range to test it out. Just like my first one, this pistol functioned flawlessly thru several hundred rounds, mostly of hollow-point 9mm's, and was as accurate as I can shoot. It'll be my new CCW pistol, and I'm confident in its abilities to do what it needs to do.

I bought this specific model for two reasons: 1) the "X" Sig P365 is between the normal P365 and the XL in terms of overall size. It has the same style grip and slide as the XL, but a shorter barrel, flat trigger, and bright green sights. It also includes improved technology over the XL which makes it great for conceal carry. 2) There is a manual safety (better than no safety mechanisms at all). I liked the way this grip felt in my smallish hands. Not too little, not too large. The normal model has a pinky/mag extension that wiggles just a bit, and the XL has the same grip/mag as this model. I find this one easy to hold and shoot, but the slim width is hard to get used to from the Taurus G3C I have. Plenty of reviews online say that the slide is smooth operating (I can affirm that). My one issue with this though is the takedown process. The takedown lever turns clockwise and the spring must be 20-30 pounds to push. I have not seen others mention the takedown lever, so it might need some adjusting or something. There is a weird locking mechanism when it comes to taking the P365 apart. You have to lock it open, drop the mag, turn the lever, then carefully push the slide forward. Putting it back together requires pressing down a little hook toward the back of the slide. You CANNOT close the slide without either ammo or dropping the empty mag. Lastly, the magazines are hard to load even with my universal 9mm quick loader tool (I gave up on round 12). The spring had issues compressing correctly and I would have to remove the bullets, poke around the spring, and try again. It eventually got better, but I didn't have an issue like this with the Taurus G3C. Overall the build quality is great, it hits accurately, racking is okay. I would like to see a safety blade trigger and an easier takedown lever.
