Leupold Alumina Flip Open 32-33mm Lens Cover

I had previously purchased the Leupold Alumina flip cap for the ocular lens (eyepiece) of my Leupold VX2 3-9x33 EFR scope. The scope was discontinued/replaced shortly thereafter with the Leupold Freedom 3-9x33. I had not gotten the opportunity to order the flip cap for the objective lens prior to the change and just put it on the back burner for several years. Recently I decided to look for one and to my surprise, Bud’s had the exact one I needed and it had the gold Leupold “L” in the center of the cap. I placed my order and received the item in under a week’s time. It fit perfectly and now my scope not only looks complete, but I feel better about reducing the chances of something scratching my lens. It was easy to screw into place, and when closed, it snaps tightly. One thing I definitely like about these caps, is that you can fold them all the way down (against the scope body) when open. This ensures they are out of the way, can’t snag on anything, and don’t cause any peripheral distractions. This is a quality product and exactly what I expect when I buy from Leupold and Bud’s Gun Shop!
