The APX features a removable serialized chassis, which allows you the option to switch grips without changing a serialized part. The low-bore axis is a plus in the APX for mitigating recoil. Compact little package, and shoots well. Trigger is a little 'sharp' (trigger safety digs into the pad of my finger when shooting). Overall, a worthy package. It's not really snappy, either, which is surprising for so small a pistol. Maybe the mass of the slide helps with that.

Verdict’s still out. I’ve put some rounds through it with no hiccups. The price was hard to beat! That trigger pull though. I’d heard mixed reviews; but I didn’t know it would be that tight. Would I buy it again? Probably not; but Bud’s was fantastic.

nice gun, but the rebate is a scam! they accepted my form at beretta and then, for no reason, denied the claim! buy the gun

Great gun, I would have expected to pay at least $450 for this quality of semi-auto. But for $300 it's a steal! Shoots good no jamming problems. Accurate for a short barrel. Intimidating sound for a small gun, Bad guy might think it's a bigger caliber gun, especially if loaded with self-defense HP. Very concealable. I have LX hand size and with the extended clip (which comes with the gun) it's a comfortable secure fit.
