I love the Ruger it is very nice. Buds as always got it to me very promptly with no problems.

You just cannot go wrong with a Ruger revolver of any kind and this one is no different. I ordered a set of wood grips and a hi-viz sight from Ruger and put them on as soon as I took the gun out of the box, which I think were needed upgrades. Shoots just as good as my Single Six and for half the price. Ruger did well with this budget friendly little knock-around revolver.

what a fun plinking gun

This is my sixth purchase from Bud's. Every transaction went smooth. Because of a holiday weekend it took a little longer for my check to clear. This is my eleventh Ruger firearm and my second single action (cowboy) revolver. My first was back in the 1950s, a cap gun that used cap rolls. Actually I had two, one on each hip. I have shot both .22LR and .22 WMR in my new Super Wrangler. The trigger is good, not great, and the adjustable rear sight will need very little tweaking. Ruger's customer service is exceptional. I have used them twice. Once for my Red Label shotgun and again for a 9mm pistol. Both were returned like new. Very pleased with Ruger and Bud's Gun Shop. I have never needed to contact Bud's after the sale. However since Bud's added sales tax I will shop at local gun stores.

Love it! Shoots great! Ya its not the fastest to load or unload but its accurate. Great for my mini me that loves western guns. Perfect for target shooting and accurate enough for small game hunting. I wish it had a fiber front sight but that was easy to fix. No recoil with the 22 mag cylinder in but it flashes pretty good in daylight. Uses single six sights, grips & holsters at a fraction of the cost and much better availablity,

Great little shooter, so much more fun than the 22lr version, though that’s a nice little revolver too. It has nice heft, superior sights, though I wish the front ramp had an orange insert, and comes with two cylinders. Great price too.

I ordered this on September 18th, and picked it up at my FFL on September 20th, I would say that it shipped in a timely manner. I cleaned the gun and took it out shooting. I tinkered with the sights a bit and got it shooting to point of aim. The adjustable sights made that very easy. I shot at 12 yards, just because that distance was handy. Shot a couple of brands of ammo that I had with me, both shot well, with fairly tight groups, but like many of my .22 pistols, this gun preferred CCI HP, not by a lot but definitely grouped better with that ammo. No problems at all with loading or ejection of empty casings. Some 22 revolvers seem to get hard to load after a few rounds, but this pistol didn't have that problem. The trigger was about right, maybe just a tad on the heavy side, but was not hard to shoot and hit what you aimed at. This Ruger Super Wrangler shot every bit as well as any Single Six that I have owned, and you don't have to worry too much about a few scratches, and dings, when carrying in rough terrain like you might with a regular Single Six. I'm thinking Ruger will sell a bunch of these!

Been waiting for a good .22 mag. For awhile. This wrangler has weight and safety all wrapped up in a beautiful single six style you can't beat. The added cerakot makes it worry free for the environments. Ruger did good on this one.
