This is a fun little rifle now but at first it would jam about ever 5th shot. After 100 rounds it was reliable for several mags until I ran out of ammo. The trigger is horrible. I didn’t adjust it while at the range but it will be done before it comes back out. Quick shipping from buds is always awesome as well

This is an excellent rifle and the nicely finished wooden stock both looks and feels good. I mounted a 3x9-40 scope and zeroed it in my basement with a laser bore sighter at about 15 yards. The next day at the range, firing without support, I was in the ball park at 100 yards. Had I bore sighted it again at that distance, I should have been able to do much better. The trigger pull takes some time to master. Long trigger travel and an "all of a sudden" engagement. I could not reliably shoot foreign-made ammo from the Philippines. I would jam every time on the second round on all three magazines that I own. Not so with US made CCI Maxi Mags. Unfortunately I have lots of the bad stuff!! You will not be disappointed with the Rossi RS22M, and particularly one with a wooden stock.

Great rifle in one of my favorite calibers! Cycles well, very accurate, good target gun. I recommend cleaning it thoroughly before using it, and expect smoother cycling after 50+ rounds. Overall good gun for a good price, works just as well, if not better, than my Ruger 10/22 Magnum I paid $1500 for. Everyone enjoy shooting!

I did the ACH transfer to get the better price but it took 14 days to reach my FFL. I cleaned the bore and mounted a Leupold 2x7x33 Rimfire scope. After firing about 35 rounds of Remington 40 gr FMJ ammo trying to zero this in I shot a 5 round group at 80 yards. The group barely fits inside of a 5" circle and I used a very stable bench rest. The trigger on this gun takes a tremendous amount of pressure to fire. The furniture is nice but this is the worst shooting gun I have ever shot. The rifle also feels really heavy.
