I’ll start by saying I’d never heard of Tisas before but this tank commander really caught my eye, I love how it looks like a GI 1911 from back in the day so I did a little research on them. Honestly I can’t find anything I don’t like about this gun, the finish, the walnut grips, the weight, and best of all I think it shoots great and is quite accurate. So far I’ve only put about 200 rounds through it but no issues whatsoever, also it’s easy to take apart and clean. I also hadn’t ever bought a firearm online but the experience I had with Buds was so simple and seamless it definitely won’t be my last, shipping was super fast as well. I definitely recommend Tisas as a quality, budget minded brand and couldn’t be happier with Buds

Nice gun Well built and shoots great. Have higher priced 1911's and this one stands up to them in build and performance.

When I first tested my 1911 out it would consistently fail to feed. I'm going to clean and oil my tisas and used different ammunition and l will see if that works.

1911 9mm tank commander. Pick up today just like my full size 1911. I’m impressed. No scratches delivered on time. Update when I fire it however it’s mostly in a gun trophy case. Great price my FFL transfer fee went up, still saved some money. This my second firearm from Buds along with ammunition.

Well, while I generally find his reviews entertaining, it looks as if my experience with the TISAS was a little different than that of HICKOK45. First off my 9mm Commander-sized 1911 was not a $300 pistol, earlier this year it was a $500 pistol from Buds. Second when I got the pistol in hand, it will not feed 115 or 124 grain Full Metal Jacket 9mm ammo. I usually get one failure to extract per magazine. I am about 400 rounds into this process and have tried both magazines and several brands of ammo. I am still searching for a brand and bullet weight that will work reliably. Once if get passed 500 rounds (a respectable 'break in' period) if the problem persists, I will see about sending the pistol back to TISAS for adjustment. Oddly enough at around 200 rounds the stock panel split at the screw hole. I glued them back together again and continued the test. All in all, I REALLY WANT THIS PISTOL TO WORK.. I like it and from what I have seen so far, the finish is very durable. Crossing my fingers for the next few hundred rounds....
