Features
- Splatter finished stock provides excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive
- Soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for
easy shouldering and improved geometry that progressively collapses to
reduce felt recoil.
- Removing the installed spacer allows for length of pull to be
adjusted from 13.75" to 12". Additional spacers available through Ruger.
- Installed low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed when utilizing low-mounted sights.
- Professionally applied Cerakote coating on barrel, muzzle brake,
receiver and bolt handle results i a durable, easy-to-maintain finish.
- Medium contour barrel features deep spiral flutes that reduce
weight at the muzzle end of the barrel to improve balance without
sacrificing stiffness or accuracy.
- Compact, threaded barrel with factory-installed radial port muzzle brake is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
- Intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent bolt opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
- Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user-adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds.
- Patented Power Bedding™ integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy.

Haven't been to the range yet, but looks great, fit and finish. I do wish Ruger would offer iron sights!! Scopes aren't cheap, and neither are iron sights installed. Ordering from Bud's is excellent! No issues, and not my first order, and won't be my last.

Great light weight ranch gun for getting rid of varmints' and Coyotes. Shoots well and is very accurate. I have added a scope for distance shots and a red dot quick closer shots. I really enjoy shooting this rifle.

Very nice Ruger, they have made a great looking rifle for a very affordable price. I am sure it will perform as all my other Rugers. Shipping was a little slow but within reasonable time.

The new upgrades that Ruger made are very nice and make the gun fit and feel comfortable. The spiral fluted barrel qts a ver nice higher end look to it, the threaded barrel is great and the break would not be necessary but gives it that little extra, the fact the stock is adjustable is appealing to me for my wife and younger shooters, the stock seems more sturdy than the original, nice trigger and for the money these guns shoot very well.

very quick service!!! to FFL 3rd morning!! attached new but late 70s bushnell simply lasered down hallway. functioned perfect! sitting but resting foregrip first ten all in soup sized group at 100feet , all about that high, moved to 88 yards all have, but prone and resting foregrip next ten in same soupcan size group,did waver as old guys do, but never moved scope yet. all shot so far 1985 surplus ammo . if a better marksman ,scope and ammo is a very accurate rifle just as described.Buds has always been fast on ammo also!!! Thanks

Just purchased this ruger american ranch in 7.62x39 gen2. What a great gun. I have the Gen 1 and it even better than it. Can't go wrong. Best deal I had found on the internet!
