• Q: Can I purchase this if I live in Illinois? I didn't think I could since it had a threaded barrel I just want to be sure.

  John, this has a standard trigger. It's good bit pricier but here's a timney 1.5-2 pound trigger that I have and great trigger, link here..................... https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/714020690/timney+ruger+10+22+calvin+elite+rd ...................... The best trigger I've found is the kidd two stage trigger. It's a phenomenal trigger Wich has a pull as light as 6 ounces (3 ounces on the first stage and 3 ounces on the second stage) or as heavy as 2.5 pounds but unfortunately buds doesn't have any in stock. Hope this helps.

• Q: This rifle has a flash hider at the end of the barrel from what I understand. Is this rifle NJ legal in its current configuration?

  Hi Isaac, you are correct, the flash hider/threaded muzzle combination makes this non-compliant in NJ.
  Pinned/welded would be ok, but not in it's current state. As fellow NJ resident, I feel your pain.
