SDS Imports Inglis P-35 9mm Semi Auto Pistol - 15+1 Rounds | 4.7" Barrel

Enjoy this Hi-Point variant/clone, but one of my issues with it-is that it has its "own" magazines that are a little different than the standard Hi-Power magazines and not interchangeable with other Hi-Power magazines, because this particular variant does not have a magazine disconnect; this has it's appeal but the magazines are almost useless with any other variant/clone. That is a slight minus. Generic Hi-Power magazines will work (not as smoothly) with the SDS Inglis. Got to ding it a start for the magazine situation. The build of the firearm is solid and it does shoot well so overall there are more positives than negatives.

What a beauty. Very nice pistol for the money. The nickel looks good and even. Nicely machined, and smooth. Wet with preservative. I broke it down and cleaned it, no debris inside and it's as nice inside as it is outside. No tool marks. Trigger feels to be about 6 lbs. The magazines are Sabatti and well made. I like the sights. The rear sight has a U notch and is serrated. The front sight's fiber optic collects light very well and by the looks of how they've finished its ends I don't think there's any risk of it coming out of the sight. The grips on mine look to be walnut, similar to the ones in the picture with flat topped diamond checkering but no Inglis logo. They were small for me so I replaced them with a Hogue rubber grip and hex head screws. The Hogue grip and hardware fit perfectly, it took all of a minute or two to swap grips. Slide to frame fit is very good and the pistol is solid. I haven't had time to shoot it yet but if the finish, fit, and quality of machining both inside and out is any indication, it should shoot very nicely. Bud's was great as usual.

An absolutely spectacular pistol for the money. Electroless nickel looks great, evenly applied with no noticeable imperfections. Excellent sights, fiber optic front u notch rear. No magazine disconnect !! Trigger was approx 6 lbs as received. Easily polished and adjusted to 5 lbs. Crisp. 2-15 round magazines. Look similar to MecGar and probably are just not marked as such. Shoots great, not a single malfunction. This is the gun Browning should have built. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I took this pistol to my local indoor range a few days after receiving the pistol. Even though I only ran 300 rounds of 115GR CCI Blazer ammo, I experienced no malfunctions whatsoever. I ran the pistol as it was right out of the box. One of my concerns was the green fiber optic front sight coming out, and I am glad that did not happen. The wood grips on this pistol are comfortable, and for some strange reason they feel like I'm gripping tree bark. I am looking forward to purchasing the other pistols from this manufacturer as I am a HUGE Hi-Power fan and these pistols are becoming my favorites of all the current clones on the market.
