If you want a 1911, this is the one you should get. For the price you can not beat it. I have carried 1911's since Veit Nam and this one beats them all. Fit and finish are great. Shoots with no FTF or stove pipes. Pull the trigger and it goes bang. Thanks Bud's.

Own 2 Garrisons- a full size and this shorter model. Have had no failures with either one- even when shooting reloads. Very nice shooting. I recommend the Garrison because it has everything you want and nothing you don't want. Perfect 1911.

Beautiful well made garrison. They do a nice cosmetic finish on their guns. I have several Springfield 1911' s and I cherish them all.

Took this out the same day 4 other 1911's. One was a Ed Brown custom 1911, two Springfields including this one, and two Tisas 1911s. All shot fantastic but comparing this to the Ed Brown, I'd rather have 3 of these for the money. It's a smooth shooter in the lord's caliber (.45 ACP of course). The finish on it is very nice considering. Very well built but obviously not custom fit like the EB, but again, for the money it's fantastic. I have at least half a dozen other SA's and they are all just as wonderful. No issues. This is my 1st stainless piece from SA and I must say it's makes me stare at it much longer than some of the others in the safe. I'd suggest picking one up if you got the money - it's well worth it.
