I bought this pistol to keep in our family vehicle’s console because my wife is the primary driver so I wanted something in there in the off chance she has to use it it would be light, easy to aim, and enough rounds to take down multiple targets if necessary. I know a .22 isn’t the best self defense option but she had breast cancer on her right side (she’s right handed) and has had multiple surgeries on that side which causes a great deal of pain sometimes and could be permanent making it difficult to raise her arm holding anything over a couple of pounds. My 10 year old son and I took it to the range for the first time and after I got it sighted in at about 15 yards I let my son put about 100 rounds through it and he had a ball. Shooting it with ease time and time again flawlessly with no issues whatsoever. I don’t have a lot of experience with .22 semi pistols, I have shot a few revolvers in my time, but in my opinion if there is a better .22 semi-auto pistol out there I guarantee it not even close to being as inexpensive as this one. I’d give it 10 stars if 5 wasn’t the most I could give.

A fun plinkster! Got it to run with a supressor, and it runs the subsonic rounds I've tried without fail.

This is literally one of funnest guns you could ever have! Great factory red dot, only don't forget to remove it when you first get it, clean the screws and the threads of the holes, they have factory cutting oil on them, then blue loctite them to 8in pounds (just until nice and snug), otherwise they will start to walk out after a few mags! This gun comes in a nice case, I was surprised, seems Taurus is stepping up the game a bit. This originally came with 2x 13rd mags. It will take regular 16rd mags from your tx22 and you can buy aftermarket base covers to hide the extra gap if you want. Super easy to upgrade (Solofish light/green laser combo) works great on this! Very accurate and reliable! Put easily over 500 rds through this the first day and had almost zero malfunctions after the first hundred rounds (and having the red dot amost fall off from not doing what I told you do in the beginning, lol!). It cycles pretty much whatever you feed it. My wife loves shooting it, she said this is her favorite gun!!

This gun will cycle any ammo that you put through it. Very reliable and no complications with this gun. I had to send the optic back since it wouldn't shut off. Riton customer service was quick to deal with the situation.
