Just wanted something a little different for my Ruger 22 rifles. Works just the same as the black ones, but if you need to see how many are in it it works. Going to mainly use when friends/guests come to shoot and for teaching new shooters. I like it.

I took my 10-22 to the range yesterday and this magazine functioned as well as the factory Ruger magazine did.

OEM factory mag. Ruger 10/22 was designed around the 10 round rotary magazine, hence the name. I don't think they fit any better than the original all black, but the clear are much easier to see how many rounds you have left without guessing. Tried alternative mag manufacturers, all seem to work OK, but I don't remember the last time I got a failure to feed from mag with an OEM Ruger mag. Don't fix what ain't broke.

Haven't used this magazine yet. But if it's like any other Ruger product, it will work.

I am finding these CLEAR 10/22 Magazines are progressively jamming as the .22LR rounds are being expended. I have no explanation for this... as they are only on their 4th or 5th series of use. The BLACK 5-rd Magazines are far more reliable and have yet to jam up on me... they , similarly, are in the same series of use.

These magazines tend to jam, so you are constantly tapping or poking them to free the rounds up. I bought 3 of them and they don%u2019t work as well as the black ones. I don%u2019t have any issues with the black magazines. It is nice to see how many rounds are in the mag, but not worth the hassle.

This magazine works great and I love that it is clear. I keep my bird shot rounds in this for snake killing and I like that you can easily turn over the gun and see what kind of rounds I have in it if it's been a while since the last use. You don't want to accidentally shoot a real bullet through your barn thinking it was bird shot.

Won't lock into place properly and cause constant feed jams with my Ruger American Rimfire. Complete junk.

I was hesitant to buy these magazines after so many owners said they didn't fit. I have a 10/22 target tactical with Hogue overmolded stock that was manufactured in 10/2015. I purchased four clear magazines and they all fit fine and could be removed without any problems. No failures to feed or function on any of them at the range. This is a genuine Ruger product, not a third-party aftermarket mag. These clear mags are great and it is helpful to be able to see the rounds. They will be particularly useful for Appleseeds where you need to load some mags with two rounds and others with eight and be able to tell which is which. Bud's also had the best price for these mags at the time of purchase. I would buy these again over the standard black mags.
