As always buds was great but can't say the same for the escort 410. Was hard to load as if the follower in the mag tube was binding up. Got a few minor cuts on my hand from sharp rough edges. Had trouble chambering 2 1/2 inch shells. After a box of ammo it began to get better but not there yet. I have bought several sa shotguns over the years and this is the first one that wasn't smooth functioning out of the box. Seems to be well built but needs a little refining.

Great buy! Well made and cycles good. Little heavier than was expecting but not like super heavy. Was worried about the length of the stock for a full grown person but comes with shims and when they are installed the gun throws up perfect. Very happy with the purchase

Great grow with me gun. This was bought for my 7yo to start getting used to a semi. The added spacers should get him til he's grown enough for the next caliber.

The short answer….very happy with this gun for what it is. I have a smaller framed 8 year old who wanted to turkey hunt. I was looking for a gun with light recoil so he wouldn’t be scared to shoot it. This gun has a gas system and the recoil is light. He can shoot this gun all day and really enjoys it. The gun is not perfect, some of the machining is a bit rough on the internals so a good cleaning and shooting will/has helped. We have shot 50-75 rounds through it, and it seems to be broken in and cycles really well. (We have been using light 2.5” loads only) The gun is fairly easy to break down and clean. It has had very little cycling issues since we first shot it and cleaned it. We put 50 rounds through it yesterday without any issues at all. The finish is good and the beaver tail rail is nice. I added a red dot to the gun and it is a great addition. For the money, I don’t think you can go wrong with this gun. I would recommend this to any parent to teach their children how to shoot and any who wants to get their children into hunting.

I think that the Escort PS Youth 410 shotgun is a great value for the money.. So Far, I have ran about 60 rounds of 3" hunting loads through it with no FTF's or FTE's. They include shims to adjust the stock to fit you better if needed.. Also a great selection of extended choke tubes comes with the gun. This is a utility grade hunting shotgun which would make any kid smile.. Heck.. It makes me smile at age 60! And Buds is always the best place to buy firearms from with very fast shipping. The additional warranty Buds offer may not be for everyone; But, It actually really helped out a few friends of mine who purchased from Buds and had issues with their firearms. Thanks Buds!
