North American Arms (NAA) Sentinel Conversion 22 Magnum Revolver - 5 Rounds | Rubber Grips | Stainless/Silver

The North American Arms .22 LR .22 Magnum Sentinel that I received was not fit for sale the rear sight literally fell off the frame and the .22 Magnum cylinder and plunger rod would not fit into the frame I contacted the factory repair representative and she told me I had to wait at least 6 or more weeks for it to be fit for use and repaired it seems to me their quality control system is at best pathetic I do not recommend purchasing these firearms

These little guns are very well made here in America. They are easy to conceal and fun to shoot. This model has a swing out cylinder so loading and unloading is much easier than with some of NAA's other models that need a pin removed and the cylinder taken out to load and unload. NAA's guns are probably more expensive than what a lot of people would like to pay for a 22, but once you get by that, you will find the gun is a nice addition to the herd. I take mine whenever I play golf or wear clothing that doesn't lend itself to concealed carry. The gun has a safety position to put the cylinder in so that if dropped the hammer is in a position as not to hit a round. The trigger pull is pretty stiff for a revolver. YouTube videos can cure that. I don't think the manufacturer would help if sent back to them. They have a law department you know and that trigger pull may be built in. There is a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. The first shot with the 22 magnum cylinder was a dud as well as a number of shots thereafter. I don't know if it was the ammo or the firing pin. I was able to correct that condition in my work shop and now it functions perfectly every time. I did find the gun slightly difficult to open the first few times. It didn't take long to clear the newness kinks. There is an easy procedure to follow to get it open and closed. I gave it four stars only because of the conditions I described above.
