Hard to believe a gun this small can pack such a large punch. Good for conceal carry. The manual safety can be stiff but i worked it until it became more loose and easier to use.

I became interested in the new Bodyguard as soon as I read it was out. However, it was very hard to find and Buds was the only place I could find it at the time. Smith and Wesson knocked it out of the park with it. I could not believe how small it was when I took it out of the box. I like the bodyguard 1.0 except for the trigger. S&W must have heard peoples complaints because the 2.0 doesn't have the long trigger as the 1.0. Took it to the gun range and fired 200 rounds flawlessly through it. I would recommend it for not only guys to pocket carry, but also ladies that want to purse carry. It has an easy to operate safety which I highly recommend, considering the pull on the trigger I would guess is in the 4-5 lb pressure.

This is a preliminary review, because I just got it this week and haven't made it to the range yet. So, I'll have to update it after I've actually shot it. However, I wanted to give some feedback on the ergonomics and size of this firearm. I watched many videos of this new Bodyguard 2.0. before I ordered it. Even though each reviewer describes how small it is, it's hard to appreciate that until it's in your hands. It looks like a full sized gun, only smaller. My pocket holster is on order, but I have no doubt it'll work great in that role. I ordered this thumb safety model, just to have an extra level of safety if/when needed. Despite the mixed reviews, I'm happy with the safety operation. Turning on the safety is actually quite hard, even when you're trying to, which is fine with me, because it means it'll never be accidentally enabled while carrying. Turning off the safety is a little hard, due to the small size, but the texture is extremely grippy, and after working it several dozen times, it's loosened up. Fortunately (in my opinion), the safety is still hard to enable. Some may not like this operation, but it's exactly what I wanted. As always, Bud's was great.

Great little gun! Perfect fit for anyone that wants the perfect pocket pistol! Shoots Great n no dud shots! Just break it in with about 100 rounds n it's awesome!

Bought the Body Guard ACP .380 2.0, nice comfortable fit for medium hands, racks a little hard but will probably break in with more rounds. Great service from Buds. Good job S&W

This gun is perfect for what it is designed to be - a pocket sized turbo charged get off me gun. Key points: 1) This thing is TINY. Truly no bigger than an LCP Max. 2j Great features for a gun of this size. Good capacity, great sights, aggressive grip and texture and good ergonomics. I can get a full grip on it, even with the flush fit 10 round magazine. 3) Recoil is minimal, but takes some getting used to. 4) It ran all ball and JHP ammo without any issues. 5) Trigger is fantastic, as it is the same design as newer M&P models. The one caveat I would add is that you will need to space out range sessions. The slide gets VERY warm after about 100 to 150 rounds. Another great product from S&W.

Too many sharp edges... The serrations even hurt when touched... The magazine release and thumb safety are painful to touch because of the exaggerated grip... I'm disappointed because I wanted to like it. Can't recommend it to any women since you have to have construction workers' hands to handle this gun. The Kahr CW380 feels like a much better gun in this same size... The only good thing about this gun seems to me is the capacity for its size... Hope this helps...

Great little pocket pistol. It shoots soft, conceals incredibly well, and fits in my big hands great. It's my new EDC piece, I love it. Takes some time to break in, but once it does, it's super reliable and just a joy to carry. Insanely light, too, even fully loaded. Get one!
