• Q: What is the difference between the optics ready and the OSP version of this pistol? Both are available as different options to buy. Does the OSP version come with the mounting plate?

  Hi Shawn and welcome. The Optics Ready and OSP versions are the same optics mounting system. You will receive a coupon for a single Optics Red Dot of your optics footprint choice from Springfield.   Hi Victor and welcome. The Springfield uses a proprietary Optics Cut meaning you will need an Optics Plate to mount any footprint Red Dot. There is a coupon in the box for (1) free Optics plate /footprint of your choice from Springfield.
