Very pleased with my purchase. The Kimber .45 KHX pro is my new daily carry pistol and favorite handgun in my collection. The included Hogue grip feels great in the hand and the green and red sights that come with it are excellent. I didn’t think I would like the laser sight that is built into the grip because I thought it would be more of a gimick, but I was wrong. It is very easy to adjust and is incredibly accurate once sighted in. The pressure plate to activate it is also not noticeable and it immediately turns on when you grip the handle. Excellent gun.

What more can I say but... D*Mn! This is a beautiful 1911. I was hesitant to buy this due to the fact of price and I didn’t need anymore firearms. I missed out on a Sig variant of this, and I wasn’t about to miss out on this one as well. It is lighter then I expected even with the extended magazine, I’m sure once it’s locked and loaded the weight will change. Lol! Looking forward to taking this to the range and busting out a few rounds, cleaning looks like it might be the only thing I won’t look forward to so I don’t plan to be using this that often, especially with the tool Kimber included ::smh::. Not sure what really more to say, I have never shot a 1911 so this will be a first for me. I purchased this mainly of the way it looks ::shrugs::. I plan to use this as a carry due the size and the punch that it packs. For the amount of money you pay I wish Kimber included some better tools to take apart the firearm. DONT BE LIKE ME AND BUY BASE PADS, It comes with two which I didn’t even know. Out of all the reviews I watched I don’t believe anyone mentioned that. The Red Dot looks like it has already been adjusted as well which is a plus and one less thing to worry about. When ever I take it to the range I will test it out.

Well I picked up my Kimber KHX Pro and shot it yesterday. The fit and finish was better that I expected. There is no play at all in the slide to frame fit. The gun has a bushingless bull barrel with reverse plug. It came with one eight round magazine. The laser grip is made by Hogue. It is not a Magrip as the description states. The Magrip comes with the Custom. It shoots nice and the only malfunction happened with an aftermarket 15 round magazine I wanted to try out. I don’t recommend the magazine for nothing more than a paperweight but I do recommend the KHX for someone looking for a nice pistol.

Although i have not shot it yet, this is a great looking firearm. The selling points to me were the built in laser VZ grips and the rounded butt. Feels great in your hands, solid, great looking and it is a SIG! Bud’s price was the bonus.
